Friday Five (again, not on Friday).

(From fridayfive.org.)
  1. What's your favorite piece of clothing that you currently own?

Hrm. For out-in-the-world-clothes, I think it's a toss-up between my black lace long-sleeved peasant shirt and my new comfy denim capris. For in-the-apartment-clothes, my bright red plaid flannel pajama pants.

  2. What piece of clothing do you most want to acquire?

A bra that fits. No. Really.

  3. What piece of clothing can you not bring yourself to get rid of? Why?

A tan crocheted granny shirt. Because I made it, and I loved it when I fit in it, and I wore it a lot in some fairly happy times.

  4. What piece of clothing do you look your best in?

    ... I have no idea.

  5. What has been your biggest fashion accident?

I am a fashion accident. I wear what is comfortable, which tends to not be fashionable, particularly on a 5'7", 270 pound woman. I have recently stopped wearing white t-shirts every minute of my life, though, so maybe that's a step onward to something new.
Yeah. Fashion isn't one of my strong points.

1. What's your favorite piece of clothing that you currently own?

Hm, that's a tough question... Probably my green fleecy button down shirt. Mmmmmmm, fleece.

2. What piece of clothing do you most want to acquire?

Well, if I ever get to a size that I'm comfortable with....something black and leather. Pants, shirt, corset, whatever. I love the smell of leather.

3. What piece of clothing can you not bring yourself to get rid of? Why?

My American Eagle sweatshirt. Man, I think I've had that thing for about 10 years now.

4. What piece of clothing do you look your best in?

Er, well, I'll have to take the SOs word on this one. He seems to really like my green satin night shirt. He's biased, of course.

5. What has been your biggest fashion accident?

Um.... probably striped over the calf sport socks and light colored pants (back when I was young). I'm basically a jeans and tshirt kind of person, though, so I'm more or less a walking fashion emergency.
Re: Bras that fit
Oooh, thanks very much of the pointer. As soon as I dig up some cash, I will be placing an order, I think. The durability in the wash thing is a huge win. I hate hand-washing, and prefer to leave it for things that absolutely must have it, not something I'm supposed to wear every day. :)

Thanks again!
1. What's your favorite piece of clothing that you currently own?

Hrm. Tough choice. Green hoodie that I got from my parents? Accept, Embrace, Let Go t shirt? The button up sweater that I got used for like 5 bucks and now wear all winter?

2. What piece of clothing do you most want to acquire?

Comfy waterproof black workboots. I left my last pair at a friend's house and foolishly thought I could replace them. I miss them every time it rains, any time I go hiking, all winter, any time I go to put on the uncomfortable boots I do own...

3. What piece of clothing can you not bring yourself to get rid of? Why?

Green velvety shirt my aunt gave me. It just doesn't look right on me. But my aunt gave it to me, and it's such a cool shirt, and the fabric feels so good, and and and...

What piece of clothing do you look your best in?

More than once I've heard "say, you look nice today" when I've been dressed in my dumpiest clothes and feeling like crap. So apparently I have no idea. :) I feel my best in jeans and a t shirt, oddly enough.

What has been your biggest fashion accident?

I cringe. There are pictures. No they aren't online. Brightly colored, short, flowered dress. Black lacy footless tights. The aforementioned trusty black workboots.

"Like I care" attitude + no fashion sense + college foolishness = quite a sight.
