AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.

This is really really getting tiresome. Like, a lot. I woke up today, picked my laptop up off of the table, lifted it over to me on the couch, and... my screen broke. Again. The hinge holding the left side of the screen to the laptop itself siezed, much in the way that the hinge holding the right side of the screen to the laptop siezed a couple of months ago. Before that incident, the screen had developed a 1"-wide band of interlacing in the middle of the screen. And then there's the fact that this is just a terribly flaky laptop to begin with.

With all of the cutbacks at work, I know there's no way I'm going to get them to get me a new laptop, and convincing Dell to replace this laptop is going to be next to impossible. This wouldn't bother me so much except that I use my laptop for everything. I have another computer set up at home, but it exists only to play games on. My laptop is where I spend all of my real time on my computer, and having it fall apart every time I turn around is really getting quite tedious.

Oh yeah. Hi. Sorry about that.

I missed a couple of days, I know. There were all these things I wanted to write about (and gripe about), but never felt like sitting down and devoting the time to writing about it. So now, those bits are gone forever, since I seem to be unable to remember things I want to write about for more than a day or so. I have plans on how to get around this, but I'm still working on decided the exact device I want (I have it narrowed down to two, which isn't really the feat that you might think, since there were only three of the devices to start with).

Huh? Right. I had a point in here somewhere. Oh yeah. "I didn't write for a couple of days. Random and annoying things happened. I forget all of it. I'll try to do better."
