... The hell have I been doing?

I did go home on Friday night, leaving work around 9 or so, and ended up going over to Nyarla and huey's, meeting up with them and moyet. We had a good evening of eating and drinking and playing with assembled puppies. Very much fun. Got home around 2:15 or so.

Saturday, lazed around the house during the day, watched a movie or two. Then, I kidnapped Nyarla and went to see Chicago. MUST! If you like musicals at all, go see this. (I don't care if you don't like Richard Gere. He plays a smarmy slimy guy. It works.) Nyarla and I were forced to watch scantily-clad attractive women sing and dance for two hours. The horrors!

Sunday, I went out to the comic store and picked up my comics. Then, I went to investigate a a new bead store down the street from my office. Oh my. Great store. Huge selection, mostly strands (not annoying by-the-bead stuff), and really good prices. I liked the place a lot better than

Sunday, I went out to the comic store and picked up my comics. Then, I went to investigate a a new bead store down the street from my office. Oh my. Great store. Huge selection, mostly strands (not annoying by-the-bead stuff), and really good prices. I liked the place a lot better than <a href"http://www.beadazzled.net/">Beadazzled, though Beadazzled wins on the "other stuff" category. <lj user="lizzielizzie">, <lj user="jehanna">, remind me to take you guys when/if you're next in the area. Then, I realized that I had about 50 minutes to kill, and of course, I needed something to store my beads in, since the solution I'd tried to cobble together wasn't working. But! Never fear! The Container Store was near! As coyote said, "You know better than to go there without adult supervision!" But, I was only a few minutes late to meeting sitz and moyet for pool. moyet only stuck around for a couple of hours, but she seemed to have a good time, so my mission was accomplished. sitz and I made full use of the "5 hours of pool for $5" deal, finishing our last game scant minutes before our five hours were up. I went home for a bit, and futzed around, and kidnapped coyote for a late-night breakfast at IHOP, where we had fun, and mocked the terrifyingly riced-out Eclipse, failing to notice that the owner was behind us. Oops.

Today, I went to work, and did workthings, then sped off to Gaithersburg to have dinner with Helene and Lotta and Jonas, which was a great deal of fun. If I can find my boss, I'm going to see about taking tomorrow as a personal day, so I can go and help tackle the Lotta/Jonas house. Yay, fun! And, tomorrow night, a bunch of us are going to go see The Double-D Avenger in Dupont Circle. Should be quite the entertaining trip. I'm going to wear my cleavage-enhancing bra! (Seems appropriate, you know.)

And yeah. That's it, I think. For someone who has no social life, I've been very busy of late. </lj-cut>
