You have got to be kidding me.

As if having spent the last two days vomiting and nauseated were not enough.
As if having spent the last two days shaking and aching were not enough.
As if having spent the last two days with alternating hot and cold flashes were not enough.
As if developing a cough tonight and discovering my chest muscles already hurt were not enough.

As if all of this were not enough, you give me a PERIOD, too!? You know, one of those things I just had TWO WEEKS AGO?

Stupid traitorous body.

You're going to, like, call a doctor, right?

Soon? Tonight? Tomorrow morning first thing?
I'm pretty sure it's just stomach flu and that the urgent care centers are running rampant with such things right now. I mean, it feels like every other flu I've ever had. But, if it will make you feel better, I will call an ask-a-nurse line tomorrow.
Please do call! It would put my own (and likely your) mind at rest knowing that it is nothing serious.
A nice hot mug of Honey, Brandy, and fresh Lemon Juice works wonders for chest/throat.
Whoopsie. This is probably my family's fault. Our women only get periods about once every six to nine months, and I've long hypothesized that other women must sometimes take one for the team and get an extra. I think you've just saved one of my sisters (probably Mary for symmetry's sake) from this month's little visit. Or something.
Oh, no, that's like a written guarantee. If you're sick, you must have your period.

Though that's a pretty short space between periods... I think I'm inclined to suggest a doctor as well.
If the two-periods-in-a-month thing happens more than once, you can adjust that with hormonal birth control. Different versions of same will work better or worse for different people to accomplish this, so work with your doc to find one that does the job if this is more than a fluke. This happened to me at one point. They check you out to make sure nothing's really wrong, and if it isn't they go, "your hormones are fux0red, try some drugs".

This is the initial reason I went on the pill. By the time I went off it things seem to have readjusted themselves and the problem hasn't come back. Although I still have the random skipping-a-month issue similar to what yehoshua mentioned in his comment. It's a good thing I don't want kids, cause I suspect with cycles this irregular I'd have a hell of a time having any.
