The good:
  • I learned something new at work today.
  • The insurance company's web site finally acknowledges that I exist.
  • Big coats, a scarf, a hat, and gloves.
  • Stompy boots.

The bad:
  • Every time someone tries to train me on something, we find five other things that are broken.
  • The insurance company's phone system does not acknowledge that I exist.
  • The insurance company's web site says I was not covered until January 1st, which means I will not be able to get reimbursed for the doctor's appointment I paid for when I was deathly sick last month.
  • Even with all the winter gear, it's COLD outside.

Five hours to go, then home to clean up the apartment, and then movie night. Elfbooty and eyeliner! Arrr!
I take it you were no longer covered under COBRA when you were ill in December?
Nope. RCN only paid the COBRA premium for one month, and my AOL insurance was effective (no matter what the insurance company says) on 12/01. I just didn't have a card, and couldn't think since I was sick, so I just paid for it out of pocket and planned to get reimbursed as soon as the insurance company acknowledged I exist.

*fist shaking!*
Something new! YaY! :) *Wonders what that was!* :)

I'm sure the insurance company will get their act together! *Cheers progress made!*

YaY for movie night! Have a great time :)

How to configure a login path on the test pea!

Doesn't that make sense?

If it makes you feel any better, it doesn't make much more sense to me. ;)

Thank you! fuzzichi and I both have little clip-on lights so we can work on our cross-stitch in the dark. Hee.

Now I am jealous. And know what I'm getting myself for my birthday. Do you have a recommendation for brand and/or purchasing location?

Bunch of crap. Bah. I heartily recommend not taking any of that noise. You were eligible, they should pay, their failure to have their act together notwithstanding.

Can your company's HR department help get the insurance co squared away about exactly when your eligibility date was?
